BYE... 2018

2018 was actually a surprisingly good year, even though i'm pretty sure everyone complained about it, but all the world issues aside to me 2018 was a good year, well I started this didn't I! (only took me about 5 years but at least we got there eventually). So anyway here's my throw back on what has given me a great 2018.

Started the year with an amazing gig from Imagine Dragons, there is not a show of theirs I won't attend!

Just checking i still fit, clearly wasn't a problem (yes i am still 6 years old inside). 

There's still time left ... maybe that'll be my New Years resolution

2 Minutes after when the cold becomes too much, it was freezing. 

 The one day it was actually warm enough to not have to wear a coat (this needs framing).

 The one and only Rolling Stones, yes i did cry and no I am not sorry.

Now i'm going to go end the year just how I started it listening to some old classics and slightly (lets be honest it's going to be more than slightly) drunk off my arse on tequila. Happy New Year guys hopefully it'll be your best yet and if not 'hey! there's always next year right.'

Last Minute extras – (gift guide slightly)

Even though I would love to have told you great ideas for Christmas gift ideas and I did plan on giving you a couple of ideas, I’ve once again run out of time and working near enough everyday Christmas has very quickly crept up on my and also I can’t tell you what I’ve bought everyone because they would then know what I’ve got them but if you are looking for the last couple of gifts or stocking fillers here are a few of my go to places. 

Space NK– great for small but luxurious beauty or make-up gifts (Emma Hardie cleansing balm gift set always a staple). 

Urban Outfitters– Great for all your quirky fun gifts, great for Secret Santa’s or a fun game to play on Christmas day. 

Hotel Chocolat/ Thornton’s– Everyone loves receiving some candy at Christmas you can never go wrong with. (Dairy free alternative – Booja Booja truffles, available in Sainsbury’s and Holland and Barrett). 

Boots– Always the place for those weird gifts that you always think you don’t need but make a huge difference, they have everything from your favourite food gifts to your go to fragrance. 

Anthropologie – Small home gifts that just add a little extra to your home, even if it’s a mug or a tea towel. 

Happy Socks– Great for your slightly more daily essential gifts that you think you don’t need from your grandma when you’re younger. 

Cult Beauty– Full of miniatures and holiday gift set of all the brands you love, including Benefit, Too Faced and my personal favourite Sol De Janeiro (always love for the bum bum cream). 

Lina Stores – Small Christmas food hamper essentials full of herbs and of course the best Panettone and amoretti. 

Well that is just to name a few of my favourite places to find those extra gifts when you’ve run out of ideas, hopefully that helps you out if you’re still struggling to find the perfect gift (especially for that one person who always seems to have everything).
